Introducing Dr. Elena Voronejskaia

Meet Dr. Voronejskaia, our new doctor at Visalia Family Practice.

Dr. Elena Voronejskaia is a highly skilled physician specializing in family medicine, mental health, and women's health. She grew up in the former  Ukrainian Republic of the USSR, where she developed a curiosity for medicine. At the age of 17, she began medical school, specializing in Psychiatry. Dr. Voronejskaia graduated Cum Laude from the Tyumen State Medical Academy in Tyumen, Russia, and later moved to Canada in search of better opportunities. There, she worked as a Molecular Biology Technician at the University of Toronto for eight years.

Dr. Voronejskaia then relocated to the United States with the aspiration of working in family medicine. She returned to medical school at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, an American offshore school in the Caribbean. After completing her residency in Family Medicine at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina, she moved to California, attracted by its diversity and iconic cities. She chose to settle in Visalia, envisioning her family life in the Central Valley, reminiscent of the agricultural community where she was raised. Currently, she works for Family Health Care Network and is eager to join Visalia Family Practice to continue her passion for medicine and serve her community while raising her family.

Dr. Voronejskaia is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is fluent in both English and Russian and also speaks some Spanish and Italian. Outside of her practice, she enjoys traveling, finding quiet in the Sierras, gardening, drinking black tea, and spending lazy afternoons by the pool.
